The panel, rendered pixel for pixel.
A faithful recreation of the usage screen the firmware paints on its little TFT — drawn here with the same Adafruit glyph data, the same mascot bitmap, and the same draw primitives the ESP8266 runs. Change the numbers below and watch it react exactly as the hardware would.

On the wire the two-line contract
These are the exact serial lines that would produce the screen above. The firmware caches them and counts the resets down locally, so the panel stays truthful even when nothing is pushing.
This is the usage_display view recreated in a browser — not a mockup: it decodes the real MASCOT and boot-logo RGB565 bitmaps and the actual FreeSansBold9pt7b and 5×7 glcdfont glyphs, then draws them with ported Adafruit_GFX primitives on a 128×160 buffer. On the hardware, the numbers come from Claude Code's statusline payload; here they come from the controls. Percentages don't decay; the session dots fade to none after two minutes of silence, and busy dots breathe through the coral ramp.
